Voting is how we decide who represents us and which policies shape our future. Local elections affect your school, roads, public safety, and more. National elections decide presidents, senators, and members of Congress.

If you don't vote, someone else is making those decisions for you.

• Go to vote.org/register-to-vote

• Select your state. Some states offer online registration.

• If you're 16 or 17, you may be eligible to pre-register, depending on your state.
